Moving Along on The Trail
The Dalles Riverfront Trail has been 23 years in the making and supporters are working to complete the final phases on construction and will be celebrating that fact on National Trails Day, Saturday June 2.
The final 1.38 miles of the trail to be completed includes an underpass at the boat basin freeway interchange and several segments between The Dalles Marina and The Dalles Dam. Construction is scheduled to begin July 2013 with completion in spring 2014.
