The Riverfront Trail winds through the Lone Pine Village fully restored wetland lagoon park and along the Columbia River in front of our new Water's Edge building, which was completed last June. We are very excited to bring this amenity to our residents and commercial tenants of Lone Pine Village as well as the local community.

History of the Trail
The Riverfront Trail re-establishes the connection from the City of The Dalles to the Columbia River, and a recreational facility that benefits walkers, bicyclists, runners and people with disabilities. In 1989 and advisory committee was formed to establish a trail. When the trail is complete, it will span 10 miles between two major cultural centers; Columbia Gorge Discovery Center and The Dalles Dam Visitors Center at Seufert Park.
There are 1.5 miles remaining to be constructed and these are in 4 small sections along the trail, this final connection will complete a 7 million dollar construction effort not to mention the land, easements and in kind donations that have been contributed. The board that heads up this effort has worked diligently to secure a $1.7 million grant from ODOT. Congratulations to all of the members of the community and a special thank you from Lone Pine Village to the Riverfront Trail Board for allowing us to participate in the donation process!
